To those who are new-comers to the site, on the rare occasions that I update this autobiography, I always put the latest bit of information about my life right here, before the rest of my bio continues on below. Things have improved marginally in my second year at NMSU, I was recently promoted to supervisor at my job, I'm about a year away from graduating now, and I'm considering working on my masters afterwords for education (college hopefully, not to keen on teaching high school or lower.)

I grew up mostly in Wisconsin. Since 5th grade, I've known that I was meant to be a writer. I may have been horrible at writing at the time, but it quickly became my passion. Since then, I've been practicing, slowly building up my skills and now working towards becoming a novelist. I still have a loooong way to go before I'm as good as I want to be.

My hobbies? Obviously, writing. Another hobby is computer graphic design and animation. Odd as it may seem, though, that is directly related to my writing. Had I not started STDragon, I don't know if I would even know what CGI meant! Other hobbies include: reading (a good book and a cup of tea makes my day!), watching movies (or rather, good movies), piecing together plastic models (Haven't done that in a while, but I may some day start doing it again), web site designing, and video games (playing a good game with a great story also makes my day!)

Something else I enjoy, although I've not done it much lately, is rock climbing and hiking. Those two I say almost as if they are synonymous, in that to me, they kind of are. I guess, however, that's because I generally go hiking in the mountains, which is also the best place to find ideal rock climbing locations. Note, however, that I say rock climbing, not rock crawling. I honestly don't see how people get a rush out of taking a vehicle around rock formations, to me, it ruins the fun of actually getting off my butt and doing the climbing myself! Probably one the greatest memories I'll have for the rest of my life is when I was visiting a friend up north of Salt Lake City, Utah. We hiked up the western face of a mountain, which pretty much ended in climbing rocks to get out of the trees and up to a place where we could watch the sun set over the Great Salt Lake. I had forgotten my camera that day, but that is an image I will never forget... I may not be in the best of shape any more, but I still will push myself hard and do what I love so much! And besides, it's just incentive to get my butt in gear and get some muscle back! Perhaps if it wasn't for the medical condition I'd had last year, I wouldn't have allowed myself to get this bad, but just goes to show, the road to recovery is a long and difficult one, but I'm determined to get myself back to the physical shape I used to be!!

Had enough of my boring life? If you want to get to know me better (I don't know why anyone would, but it's happened before), please email me! I'm always on the look out for a good friend with similar interests, or as someone else once called them, similar 'passions.'

or, if you prefer, talk to me on ICQ! My UIN is 15583198!
